Casino Entertainer publishes reviews and guides about online casinos for readers in Canada. This page sets out what our content is, where its limits lie, and what you should check yourself before you put real money on the line.
An information service, not a casino
We are a publisher. We do not offer games of chance, take bets, open player accounts, process deposits or pay prizes. When you click through to a casino, you leave our site and deal with that operator alone. Any dispute about a bonus, a withdrawal, a closed account or a game result is a matter between you and the operator, under the operator’s terms and its licence.
Gambling in Canada is a provincial matter
The Criminal Code leaves gaming to the provinces, so the rules depend on where you live:
- Ontario runs an open, regulated market. Private operators must be registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and contracted with iGaming Ontario. If you are in Ontario, use sites that hold that registration.
- Alberta opened its online market to private operators under the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) in July 2026; licensing there is still being rolled out.
- Other provinces and territories authorise the provincial lottery corporation as the online operator.
Many of the casinos we review are licensed abroad rather than in a Canadian province. A review on this site is not a statement that an operator is licensed where you are, and it is not legal advice. Check your province’s rules, and the operator’s licence details in its own footer, before you register.
Age limit
Our content is meant for adults: 19 and over in most of Canada, 18 and over in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. If you are under the legal age in your province, please leave the site. Operators verify identity before paying out, and accounts opened by minors are closed with winnings void.
Offers and figures
Welcome packages, free spins, wagering requirements, minimum deposits and withdrawal times are copied from the operators’ own pages on the day we check them. They change often and sometimes without notice. Amounts are shown in Canadian dollars where the operator quotes them that way; otherwise they are approximate. The binding conditions are always the ones the operator shows you at the moment you accept an offer.
Ontario rules restrict how licensed operators may advertise bonuses to people in the province. Offers mentioned on this site may therefore not be available to Ontario residents, or may be presented differently on the operator’s Ontario site.
Ratings are opinions
Our scores and rankings reflect the judgement of our reviewers after testing a site from a Canadian player’s point of view: registration, CAD accounts, Interac and iDebit deposits, the real value of a welcome offer, payout speed and support. They are opinions, not guarantees. Another reviewer may weigh the same facts differently, and your own experience at a casino may differ from ours.
Games, odds and RTP
Return-to-player percentages and volatility ratings come from game providers and describe behaviour over a very large number of rounds. They say nothing about what will happen in one session. Every spin and every hand is random, and the house edge means that, over time, players as a group lose. No strategy, system or bonus turns a casino game into a reliable way to make money. Free demo versions mentioned in our guides may differ from the real-money version in the features shown.
Commercial relationships
Some operators pay us a commission when a reader opens an account through one of our /go/ links. These agreements fund the site. They can influence which casinos are listed and where they appear in a list, but they do not buy a positive review or change the facts we report. The full explanation is in our affiliate disclosure.
Third-party websites
Links to operators, game studios, payment providers and regulators lead to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their security, their availability or the way they handle your data. Read their terms and privacy policies before giving them any personal or payment information.
Keep it under control
Decide in advance how much money and time you are prepared to spend, and stop when you reach that limit. Never chase losses, never borrow to gamble and never gamble to solve a financial problem. Use the limit, time-out and self-exclusion tools offered by licensed operators. If gambling is causing harm to you or someone close to you, ConnexOntario offers free, confidential support on 1-866-531-2600, every day and at any hour. Our problem gambling page lists further help.
Trademarks
Casino brands, game names, payment brands and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the products we discuss; their use does not imply any endorsement by, or partnership with, the owner beyond what our affiliate disclosure describes.
Liability
We work carefully, but we cannot promise that every page is complete, current and free of errors at all times. To the extent permitted by law, Otrolume Publishing N.V. is not liable for losses resulting from the use of this site or from reliance on its content, including gambling losses and losses caused by an operator’s actions. You decide whether and where to play, and you carry the risk of that decision.
Corrections
If you notice an out-of-date offer, a wrong figure or an operator behaving differently from what we describe, tell us. We review every report and correct the page when the information is confirmed.
