Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated:

Casino Entertainer is free to read. It is paid for mostly by commissions from casino operators. This page explains how that works, so you can judge our reviews with all the facts in front of you.

How we earn money

Many of the casinos on the site run affiliate programmes. When you follow one of our links and open an account, the operator may pay us a fee — a one-off amount, a share of the revenue it makes from the account, or both. You do not pay anything extra, and the bonus you receive is the same one the operator offers through its other channels.

What a /go/ link is

Buttons such as “Play now” or “Get bonus” point to an address on our own domain that begins with /go/, for example /go/brandname. That address forwards you to the operator and tells it the visit came from Casino Entertainer. Not every /go/ link earns a commission: some casinos are listed because they are worth knowing about, even though we have no agreement with them.

Cookies involved

Every page of casinoentertainer.com sets two cookies on our own domain: mz_vid, a random visitor ID kept for one year, and mz_src, which records the source of the visit for 30 days. When you follow a /go/ link, two more are set for about 20 hours: mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN. They let us count referrals and protect the redirect from abuse. The operator’s site sets its own cookies once you arrive there. More in our cookies policy.

Does payment affect the order?

Yes, partly, and we would rather say so plainly. The selection of casinos in our lists and their position take into account the commercial agreements we have. The content of a review does not: a partner casino with slow payouts, tight wagering or weak support is described that way, and an operator cannot pay to remove criticism or to raise its score.

How a review is written

Reviewers look at what matters to someone playing from Canada: whether the site accepts players from your province, CAD accounts, Interac and iDebit, the real value of the welcome offer after wagering, withdrawal limits and speed, and how support answers. The commercial team does not edit review texts.

What you should still check

Before you register, make sure the casino is allowed where you live. In Ontario that means registration with the AGCO and iGaming Ontario. Read the bonus terms on the operator’s own page, because they can change after we publish. You must be 19 or older (18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec).

When agreements change

Partnerships start and end. When an agreement ends, the casino may move down a list or disappear from it. Our assessment of its games, payments and support changes only if those things change.

Bonuses we mention

Welcome offers on our pages are the operator’s public offers unless we clearly say a deal is arranged for Casino Entertainer readers. A higher commission never makes a bonus look better than it is: our reviews look past the headline amount to the wagering requirement, the maximum bet and the game weighting, because those decide what an offer is really worth. In Ontario, operators may not advertise bonuses to residents, so offer details on our pages are not aimed at players there.

Sponsored content

We do not publish paid reviews. If we ever run material that an operator has paid to appear, it will be labelled as sponsored at the top of the page.
